• Best practices for creating respectful work environments that support the needs of your diverse workforce.
• Communication practices to implement prior to their start date, during their initial onboarding and then ongoing throughout the season.
• Ways in which you can support the cross-training of team members to ensure coverage if someone calls off.
• The importance of using correct pronouns and what to do when you have a misstep.
• The importance of empowering team members to handle their own challenges with other team members.
• How to review safety standards (ADA, rides, etc.) with all team members so they know enough to be knowledgeable in front of guests.
